Four women Spitfire pilots

Women who flew Spitfires in World War II are to receive an award from Gordon Brown. Over 100 women joined male pilots in the Air Transport Auxiliary and flew 300,000 fighters and bombers from factories to front line airports.  Nigel has successfully campaigned for all survivors of the ATA to receive a distinquished Badge of Honour from the Prime Minister.
