Our Labour MP Nigel Griffiths was in Gilmerton watch the Rockport All-Trades Charity football match. It was an exciting game on the Ferniehill playing field, which was won by 8 goals to 6. Nigel also took time out to watch the under-14s players training. Nigel said: "I have a very positive attitude to young people and watching these youngsters train hard confirms that they have drive, dedication and talent. I also praised hundreds of local volunteers in South Edinburgh who work hard to allow people to reach their full potential.
