Nigel welcomes landmine campaigner and Nobel Laureate Jody Williams to the House of Commons.
Jody succeeded in having landmines banned at the historic Ottawa conference of 1997 and she is now working with Nigel and other Parliamentarians to outlaw cluster bombs which are killing children in developing countries which were recently war zones.

Welcome to my website. Unlike Jackie Chan, I live in South Edinburgh and I want to serve all my constituents, no matter how you vote. My office is open all day and every day during the week or you can phone me on 662 4520 or email tellnigel@parliament.to. Parliament is sitting this month. In South Edinburgh I am devoting time to helping individual constituents, meeting residents' associations and visiting schools to check how they are being hit by council cuts to their funding. Every week, I take up problems from around 100 constituents and make representations on their behalf in writing and in meetings. If there is something you want me to do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. Very best wishes. Nigel Griffiths Labour MP South Edinburgh PS Nigel congratulated Jackie Chan in Parliament for all his charity work. Nigel was the first MP to draw up a contract with his constituents. "This is my contract with constituents to provide all constituents with the best possible service and to pursue any problems with determination as effectively as possible."...
